Following the intentional and minutely planned invasion of Israel by Hamas via the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, The Great Commission Baptist Church continues in support of Israel. GCBC believes that Israel has the right to exist, to have well defined national borders, to retaliate against enemies and terrorists in order to defend the nation, and to wage war as it sees fit. GCBC believes that once again God will fight for Israel and give them victory over their enemies. Further, GCBC believes that the October 7th invasion is a prelude to Ezekiel's War which is revealed in Ezekiel chapters 38&39. Attacks, skirmishes, acts of terror, battles and warfare will continue to build regarding Israel leading to Ezekiel's War which will intensify in the middle of The Great Tribulation (comparing Daniel9:27 & Ezekiel 28:11). Ezekiel's war will conclude with the destruction of Israel's enemies at the Battle of Armageddon (which occurs at the Second Coming Of Christ to earth, see Revelation chapter 19). GCBC believes that current conflicts in Israel are leading to the fullness of Ezekiel's War. GCBC remains in support of Israel and in opposition to Hamas and her terroristic allies.
